What We Do

The aim of Agile Objects is to be as useful as possible to the community of teachers working in and around collections, whether in academic or public museums.

We hope that part of that ambition will be met by the resources and discussions on this blog.

Other ways in which we hope to make our own resources available are through working directly with the institutions – museums, collections, universities – for whom teaching with objects may be a new endeavour or a desirable end, or indeed a familiar practice in need of re-examination.

In these pages we outline some of the uses to which our expertise might be put.  None of these are mutually exclusive and they may be combined in any way that seems helpful.
